The right kind of game to help rebuild Savic`s confidence
Like Boyata he`s a promising player who likes to play the ball and has potential but too often, as Boyata before him, when he makes the wrong decision it affects his play for the remainder of the game.
Dzeko`s confidence will also be helped by his goal.

Much improved performance by Silva who`s been below par for the greater part of the past two months.
And Kun could easily have had a hat-trick today. like a buzzin` bee.

Craig Burley was correct in his analysis that we`ve got a nice `genteel` run of games in that they`re either against sides we usually roll over, or sides that like to play football

Villa away is a tough fixture but its generally a good run of games on paper.

Kun will give Dunney a roasting
Ireland will want to play, of course, and I`m sure he`ll rise to the occasion, if he does.
But McLeish`s inclination will be to shut up shop

Draw no good to City at this point. Need all 3 points.

Nice win Jimbo. Some nasty weather over there while we are having a one of the mildest Winters in the history of New York.

Cheers, lad
Although we generally do well against Fulham we`ve had an unfortunate tendency to gift them draws when the game should have been `done and dusted`, - so I couldn`t really relax until the third went in

Yes, but McLeish doesn`t make a City game into a combination of `personal vendetta`/Cup Final that Gollum does, since his boss made a killing out of selling Lescott to us at a hugely inflated price!

Fair play to City I think the are going to close out this league with little bother, of the the two teams closest to them , Spurs haven`t the bottle to sustain a real challenge and Utd haven`t the players.

Chelsea to win today and of course Liverpool easilytomorrow night

If Liverpool had not been so inconsistent against the lesser teams it could have been a real battle between them and City for the title, I expect Liverpool to have the best run in of all the teams but are too far behind to make a challenge for the title this season unfortunately.

And if Wigan had won all of their games they`d be top of the league, not bottom. And if my aunt had balls she`d be my uncle....

I wish I were as confident about Chelsea today as you are, Blanco

Torres will def score today, maybe even a few, he always does well against Utd.

And Essien on his own will have the beating of Utds central midfield, best Utd can hope for is to scrape a draw.

I haven`t seen Essien since his recent return from his extended injury absence.
But even on the previous time I`d seen him he was only a shadow of the player he looked 3 and 4 years ago.

Torres has shown flashes of quality this season, but he looks to have lost a yard of pace off his Liverpool pomp

I`d only ever previously said face: never the other two lads
There`d be far too much of a personality swing for you to handle!

Been watching the Rugby where misplaced Irish overconfidence got the beating we deserved by a hugely impressive Welsh side.
Just a pity Gatland couldn`t have displayed such tactical nous when he coached us
