The tipp lads always try to claim Sean Kelly.
Thing is, Kelly isn't from Carrick on Suir, he's from Carrickbeg.

problem is its still the oldest city in ireland miles behind the rest- just finished 4 years of college down there and the celtic tiger just kicking in as i left- fine college though
Is it true that the hurlers wives and girlfriends go to muldoons together and are known locally the HAGS? not my words now AFR

Never.
It was always blue-and-yellow.
However, some denizens of the Prameheyar Cowntay like to refer to it as 'gold' and I adopted that term out of deference to them.

Jays, you obviously missed out on the Good Manners 101 course, so, while you were there.
It's on every second Tuesday in the Business Studies building.
Also, you could've done with the one on 'Avoiding Mycogynistic Comments About Women' as well.
Maybe there might be something suitable for you in the Mechanics' Institute some night.
