Can anyone stop the mighty Deise on their inevitable  march to finally collect their due this year? I think not. Get in to your local bookies now. Its like buying money sure. Cork are past it, Limerick are mullockers,Kilkenny will surely choke at three in a row, Galway wont get past the quarters, and Tipp are the most overhyped sports outfit since Oirish Rugbys golden boys (or whatever )  See ye in September.

I agree with you about Cork, Galway and wholeheartedly regarding Tipp. True Limerick are mullockers but... Waterford wont be far away nor will Cork. Kilkenny wont win.

Alot of people are ruling out limerick very early!....bad league campaign undoubtably!...but the lads have really stepped it up since the new additiond to the panel are Im sure pushing last years lads even further....and with the likes of geary yet to return from injury we still havent seen the best possible startn 15 from the treaty men. I still reckon tipp galway and the cats are the sides to be reckoned with come sept but im certian the limerick boys will rattle a few of them along the way....If they were to make it to the first sun in sept this year i would think there experience last year and their determination would drive them over the line.....

Write off Limerick at your peril. They will not win Liam though. Next year they will have the perfect mix of young and old since 96. Except this time `management` will not get rid of the old. For example in 98 Clarke was club hurler of the year in Limerick and not even on the county panel. Tipp have peaked as have Galway, Cork as always will be a danger, likewise KK and the old jokes from last year will still apply. What is blue and white and goes beep, beep, beep? The waterford bus reversing back into the garage.

I would fancy Tipp to win any other possible fixture in Munster except the one they have....its the toughest possible test for this Tipp team and they know it. Therefore to lose it will not be the end of the world and they can regroup and make an AI semifinal. As can Cork if they happen to lose that fixture. They will get better as the summer goes on, bedding in the likes of Shane O Neill, Cadogan, Corry and young Sull...

The reality about KK is that they only have to win 2 matches to win a 3 in a row. It will be very hard to beat them in a final so they only real hope IMO is to catch them at the semi stage where they might be soft from not having a serious game. I hope that its Cork or Tipp that meet them at that stage because IMO they are the only teams that can take them..The Waterford and Galway full back lines are not strong enough to hold the KK forwards and so IMO not good enough to beat KK. Limerick are not equipped to beat them either and the rest are nowhere.

KK for the 3 in a row unfortunately...

PS I cant see Limerick being better next year than this year. Ollie Moran will probably be retired and he will not be replaced at 11 for a long time. I dont see any young players to come in to improve the team in the next 2 to 3 years..

I still cant understand why Waterford, with the talent at their dismosal over the last 10 years, have not even reached an All-Ireland final.
If counties like Clare, Limerick Wexford or Offaly for example had the same talent over the last 10 years I think it is fair to assume they would have distilled at least another 1 or 2 All-Irelands.
Ironically with the focus off them this year they might just do it, but I somehow doubt it.
Any team is beatable  on any given day but Kilkenny have to be strong favs
