Justice was finally done. They did well to get this far but they were playing for penos from the start and got their just deserts. Zenit had some decent players - i`d say a few of them will move on to richer clubs.

What did ye expect them to do? Open the game up? They would have been slaughtered in the group stages had they done so. To much hilarity no doubt. They played to their strengths and it got them this far. Defending is a skill in its own right.

If they are really such a boring, negative, unattractive side to watch then why watch it at all?? Have ye nothing better to do?Everyone knew exactly what Rangers were going to produce tonight. 13/10 for `no Rangers goal` was an attractive enough price to keep the wolf from the door for a bit anyway. As for your `feeling`......it`s not impossible that Celtic could drop   points too, you know...it`s not like it hasn`t happened near the end of a season before, just ask Scott McDonald?
