PP have 14-1 odds on name the finalists for Portumna & Cushendall to make the final.
Portuma will go damn close to keeping their side of the bargain but is there any hope for Cushendall??

Well it is probably a 14-1 chance! It would still require two upsets....I wouldn`t be suprised if Cushendall win, de la salle are a good side but not a great one. That being said it would still be an upset. If Ballyhale can stop Canning then they will win handily and I feel that they will do this. Obviously its no secret that Mullane is vital to DLS success and Cushendall will try to do exactly the same to him. I still think the final will be Ballyhale vs DLS with DLS getting a right thrashing!

Yeah, funny enough it was Daithi Reagan who got me thinking on Newstalk yesterday. Reckons Portumna are by far the best clubside and will beat Ballyhale. Should be a cracking game either way!

It`s easy to see how us nordies can catch the southern boys on the hop in club semi`s.

How do this Cushendall team compare to their previous representatives at this stage ?
They seem to be fairly solid at the back with four Antrim regulars there , but are they abit lacking in scoring options up front ?

Thats a fair assessment. Not a great point scoring side, but they have a knack of getting goals.

Hope so!
Would be more suprised if we got a doing than if we won. Looks like being a tight game, then its all down to who turns up on the day.

No hope. DLS by at least 8 points. Johnny Mullane to score 1st goal.

This is our 3rd time playing the Munster champions in Parnell Park.
If we get fair treatment from the ref, we will not be far off...
In 1997 we played Wolfe Tones, lost by 1 point-but the point that beat us was wide, and the ref d**+++ie Murphy knew it, as too did everyone in the stand.
In 2000 it took nearly 9 mins (actually 8 mins 34 secs ) of injury time for Doora Barefield to get a replay....
No Hopers? Hopefully we will have a "fair play", if so, I think we will win a low scoring game by 1 -2 points....

Think so.. If they can keep John Mullane quiet they have every chance.

keeping Mullane quiet is easier said than done.
he had some year last year even when things were going against the Deise against Clare and KK in the final.
He`s continued that form with his club- i`ll go for a De La Salle win but hope it`s Cushendall.

I can`t see any reason why De La Salle won`t win by 10 points at the minimum....

I saw De La Salle beat Adare and wasn`t in any way impressed by them. In my honest opinion, they were EXTREMELY FORTUNATE to win that game. Adare should have been out the gate by half time and even then it was only a Timmy Houlihan blunder for Mullane`s goal that won DLS the game. I think they are one of the poorest teams to come out of Munster in a long, long while.
I`ll be having a small nibble on Cushendall at 7/2 with Ladbrookes. The boys from Antrim are no mugs.

Been up since 6 with nerves and ready to head to the Parnell Park bar for opening time.
The bet I`d recommend is Cushendall ht/ft at 8/1 with Boyles. If we`re to win this one we`ll win it from the front and likely to be up at half time.
Worth a 5er at that price.

Where`s this bar then? I must check it out in my next visit.
DLS rallied to bring the game to extra-time.

Just looking at the highlights. The state of Mullane, that weasel pr1ck chasing and getting in the way of his own man screaming at him looking for the ball for their opening goal, as if he`s the only man that can score a goal. f**=========ing mong, he nearly f**=========ed up his own team from scoring the first goal. Nearly running on top of his own mans toes he was. Creep.

He`s talking sh1t now after the match on tv, some fool. I can`t wait to see Ollie Canning burst him on St. Patrick`s day.

That corner forward for De La Salle is some size of man.
Marty Morrissey described him as "burly". He was big enough to have his own postcode.

We did NOT get fair play today, certainly not from that bollock of a ref!!!!!!!!
DLS got a good few cheap frees. We get a man sent for for nothing, (no 12 should get an oscar ) yet Sean Delargy was near beheaded with a "clothes line" tackle?
