Is this a straight knock out championship or is there as second chance if teams are defeated in earlier rounds?

First stage played on a group basis , groups of four each -team plays the others in it`s group , with the top two teams progressing to the quarter finals from whereon it is knockout .
There are only seven ties listed above as the remaining one between Wolfe Tones and Ennistymon isn`t being played that weekend due to the involvement of a couple of WT players in the Clare senior hurlers .

hard to see past the quilty boys again.......unbeaten in clare since god knows when.
i think miltown could be one of the best of the outsiders though.

Doonbeg, Quilty, and Kilkee would be favourites. Best outsiders would be Milltown Liscannor and I`d see Ennistymon doing well this year.

Yer own lads must have a good chance of making the quarter-finals along with K-Ib , and will therefore avoid meeting them at that stage , how are they shaping up ?

didnt mention kilkee on purpose.saw them in last years semi final and apart from russell the rest of the kilkee lads wer a disgrace the way they lied down without a fight right through the game...hence the hammering they got in a county semi final.
oddly enough, liscannor i feel could have won the final last year, but niall considine was off injured very early in the game, massive loss for them.not sure how their going this year.doonbeg........always dangerous and a big threat but if Kib dont win i think miltown st josephs have players of quality to win in clare.

Don`t rule out DB on making an impact this year, the battle of the 2 St. Josephs could be a very interesting game!
