Henry contrasts the proud tradition and achievements of the Blackrock club, in Kilfinance, with the present troubled state of Limerick inter-county hurling...

I can not believe that such a keen follower of the game in Limerick and the rest of the country could write that Limerick (Kilfinane ) won the first ever All Ireland Hurling title in 1887. Any one with even an elementary knowledge of the history of Hurling knows that the first All Ireland Hurling Final was won by Tipperary (Thurles ) who beat Galway in the Final played in Birr. Kilfinane`s All Ireland title was won in 1897. the 1887 Football Final was won by Limerick (Commercials ) , but I am at a loss how a man with the knowledge of Limerick GAA that Henry has could make such an error. Get it changed before his credibility is damaged beyond repair!!.

Good article, SLR. It pretty much sums up every crappy thing that`s been happening in Limerick since this unholy mess began.
What are we going to do? Bring back the drop ped and disperse with the lads who are currently wearing the jersey?
It doesn`t seem fair somehow.
