Sad to hear of the passing of former Cloughbawn, Wexford & UCD hurler Tom Walsh at the age of just 57.
As a teacher in Good Counsel, New Ross, he was heavily involved in coaching there over the years.

That`s very sad news.
He taught me Geography up to Inter Cert. Sound man, a good hurler and very enthusiastic coach .
Rest in peace Tom.

A lot of people get spoken about fondly when they die but Tom was an absolute gentleman to the core. Genuinely had the interests of his pupils at the fore in the classroom and loved hurling.
Part of the coaching team to win the 95 Senior A Leinster colleges in my time.
Heaven is up one more gentleman.
Rest in Peace.
