Have the Cats any chance in Freshford? Can Kilkenny be competitive in Division 4? Are the capable of at least winning a match this year?

i was flicking through the GAA results from the various counties in the independent last monday. the result of the kilkenny underage football games and i think adult football leagues were listed. i counted about 20 different clubs playing football. its a lot of clubs kicking ball. how they cant put together a half decent, semi competitive division 4 inter county team out of all them clubs is the question. its more clubs than play football in leitrim and many other football counties and a good few more football teams than there is hurling teams in the likes of kerry, westmeath, carlow, mayo, kildare, down etc.

the standard is at a very low level, thats obvious by the intercounty results, at underage the standard is better as players get older they tend to go with the hurling.....but it is wrong to say kilkenny people dont play football... they do...just not to a good standard..
kilkenny play more football than a lot of football counties play hurling... but yet its always kilkenny that get slagged off
