As the saying goes if you getting in the right places you will soon score. And so he did tonight. Good player I think and will prove to be so in the future. Good eye for goal and scores a few for Denmark also.

For a big man with no particular pace he tends to find space in front of goal pretty regularly. Last season at the emirates v man utd, playing upfront on his own against Ferdinand and Vidic he managed 5 or 6 attempts on target, but thats easily forgotten since none of them went in. He has enormous potential. His positioning, awareness and movement are all very good, he works hard and and he never hides. Even if he`s not scoring the team suffers when he is not in it. All he has to find is the ability to hit the bloody target on a regular basis and have less days like last saturday and more days like today, and the future is very bright for him.
Good job Adebayor`s fcuked off out of his way too...

when the lad plays as the centre forward he looks the part, i was happy enough with his display against burnley even though he should have had 4 goals. but at least he was getting in the box to get the chances. wat annoys me about him is his moving out to the wings to pick up the ball as when he`s out there 9 times out of 10 theres no one else in the box. arsenal have being crying out for a out and out centre forward for years and hopefully he can kick on now.

I think it mainly came from various interviews where he spoke at great length about how marvellous he is, then hit a poor run of form and got photographed being escorted out of a nightclub with his trousers around his ankles. He honestly thinks he`s the best thing since sliced bread and isn`t afraid to say so. He`s obviously a good player and seems a likeable fellow, so I genuinely don`t think there`s much malice in the abuse he gets, it seems more good natured slagging. But when you talk yourself up like he does then miss the kind of chances he did against Burnley, you`re going to get the p1ss taken out of you and rightfully so.
