Only in Ireland would we have a chronically obese Minister for Health. Mind you, in recent times we had a Minister for the Gaeltacht that couldn`t speak Irish (Sile De Valera ) - so I shouldn`t be that amazed I suppose

The big lump of Lard is over there since March 6th on "official business"
Oh yeah, her husband just happens to be there too. It can`t be confirmed if he`s also on "official business" .
I swear, if that useless tub of guts doesnt get the axe in the re-shuffle I just give up.
She was interviewed on RTE this morning and confirmed that she was informed of this scandal on Dec 15th. On being questioned she then admitted that she didnt even enquire about it since.
It`s just fcuking unbelievable!!

The most offensive thing about Jabba the Hut is not her junketing and haircuts but the fact that this selfappointed cleaner up of politics sat there beside Ahern while they allowed the economy to go to shreds. Shes as responsible as any of them for it but do we ever hear her take responsibility? She had her snout in the trough like the rest and oversaw the bloating of the HSE until there were 17,000 in administration. Steevens Hospital has been taken over by these leeches as their HQ. I see James OReilly gave the figure recently that work which was performed by 18 people in the old DEpt days is now done by over 700.
If Biffo has any cop-on his should be the only fat face on the front bench after the reshuffle.

The festivities are happening this weekend down there rather than next Wednesday. Nevertheless she`s tearing the arse out of the thing by making it a 15 day jaunt with hubby.
She should have fell on her own sword when it came out about the Superbowl trip, and the private jet trip to Vegas for an unexplained purpose. Moral guardian me hole.

You are being a bit unfair on her - wait until you know all the facts - what will you say when she comes back and announces 600 jobs to be set up in Ireland by a New Zealand multi-national?

I`d ask her why Mary Coughlan isn`t doing that job. I`d ask her if that means we should forgive her her trespasses. I`d ask her why it took fifteen days to sort it out. I`d ask her why Ryanai were not allowed create some jobs here. And so on and so forth.

Thats the same f**king excuse thats always used for them swilling at the trough at these events. I`d love to see a list of these trips and the number of jobs create d oposite.
Shes a fake. back with FF, ignored the looting of the economy, her party destroyed, create d a monster in the HSE and seems to think shes entitled to helicopters and jets at our expense.

I spent a year in New Zealand working for the government there and I can tell you categorically that Mary Hraney has absolutely NO BUSINESS there. The reasons for this are
(1 ) New Zealand is an export economy with lower costs than we have here, much lower. There isnt a hope that an NZ company would set up here. Even now we cost too much and New Zealanders are pretty frugal. Also they do not have many multinationals that are actually NZ companies.
(2 ) New Zealand is actually a competitor to us in terms of food exports. They have advanced far ahead of us in terms of efficiency in recent years.
(3 ) New Zealand is a small economy with small players. It is not a China, US or Japan with megabucks and mega companies.
(4 ) New Zealand is a Pacific nation whose sphere of influence is Australia, Asia and the Pacific Islands. They like is but with the exception of rugby we arent on their radar - they prefer the English and the Scots (much less Irish than Scots settled there initially )
(5 ) We do not need to use Paddies day as an opportunity to meet John Key, the NZ Prime Minister. We are a country of approximately equal status and importace and could see John Key any time if we asked politely. So the notion of Patricks Day window of opportunity holds no water. Key is not Barak Obama or Hu Jintao.
Mary Harney is on a junket, pure and simple, and its a fcuking disgrace. She should be summoned home immediately, first to cut the bill and second to answer questions in the Dail.

If Fianna Fail are in power after the next election it will make the Irish Electorate the laughing stock of Europe.
To borrow an acronym from another era, it is a G.U.B.U.
grotesque, unprecedented, bizarre and unbelievable.
In lieu of a new political party coming to the fore, at the very least they should be voted out of power. It may not change much to put Fine Gael/Labour in power but it would send a message that the ordinary voter will not support a party who continues to reward these incompetents like the "two mary`s" , slick willie and a host of others whose only qualification to do their job is that they were born into the "Fianna Fail Family" .

She has single handely wrecked the health system.
What a useless waste of space.
Thinking of space,
I wonder how she managed in the economy seats that her fat fcuk of a Taoiseach said had to be used from now on for foreign travel.
Economy class my h*le!!

I suppose the irony of being a rabid ape of a blueshirt is lost on you while you rattle at me with accusations of being a FF supporter? Not very clever Alfie. The simple fact is that the opposition are just as inept and the fact that the policies of the two main parties are almost indistinguishable leaves many people with very little choice indeed. But do not let that get in the way of your rantings.

She can in no way take all the credit for that. The problems started with `Mac the Knife` in the late 80`s and the draconian cuts that set the health system back years. Then when the unfairly maligned Health Boards were cast aside for the HSE, instead of using the opportunity to cut staff numbers, Bertie came along and made a deal with the unions that there would be no cuts.

Blah Blah Blah.
There is no one listening anymore Desperate Dan!!
This is the worst government in the history of the State.
You FFers just don`t get it.
This is the second time in the space of twenty years that this fcuking party`s recklessness has ruined the economy.
You ranting about the other crowd not being any better just doesnt wash anymore.
It just doesn`t matter who it is who gets in.
This shower of fcuking useless returned empties should be jailed rather than be allowed go for re-election.

HSE, HSE, HSE!!
Typical of FF thinking or lack thereof, throw money and bodies and jobs for the boys at it.
If that doesn`t work, just keep doing it.
