coach carter was very very cheesy I thought, Invictus was a bet slow in parts, if the `Hollywood`ed` it up I reckon it would have been a lot better

That was funny alright, along the same stream as Happy Gilmore - that was gas.
As it`s moved toward golf, Tin cup would have to get a mention!

Caddyshack is up there in all time top comedy movies for me, Also thought Rudy was very good but very cheesy finish.
Think Sport movies are hard to do as its hard to get actors to play as well or as hard as the professional sportspeople they are trying to be. It mostly just ends in cringingly bad sports scenes,

Yeah true, it`s a major problem. Couldn`t say the same for Rocky though. Stallone was in some shape, they reckon he could have been a real boxer only for the height thing.
Speaking of boxing, Cinderella man... what a film. Rocky was just cinderella man with extra cheddar!

Of the more recent ones The Blindside is a good story and well worth a look. When We Were Kings is also brilliant and a definite watch for all sports fans

No mention yet for Gladiator. it`s kind of a sport, albeit a bloody one. One hell of a film though.

"A Sunday in Hell"
Without question, the greatest sporting film ever made.
"When we were Kings" second.
"The Big Blue" third.

What height thing? Couldn`t he have just fought at a lower weight class?
