updete  on Listowel:

Alpine Eagle obliged for the Guvnor in the 3.05.

He won`t be the only one disappointed that Tony`s Martin`s charge, Hign Importance, under Ruby Walsh, was unplaced in the 3.35. But this could be one to look out for on his next outing.

The AFR Stewards will look into this. Major Cholmondeley-Ffortescue doesn`t like this kind of carryon...

Kotokidy in the 415 could be a bet at 8/1 -I would be inclined to go win only and maybe lay off if he goes odds on with betfair.

You could recommend the world famous meat pies and the staple hairy bacon and cabbage that has girded the loins of many a North Kerry Crusader heading onto d`Island for the day.A few bojonters  (not shaken or stirred )  would whet the appetite nicely as well.

Not sure what happened as I was watching on betfair mobile but the price collapsed before the off and he was about 11/10 in running before the dreaded 1000 appeared.

Im heading down Thursday evening for racing on friday and saturday. Where`s the best places for food and drink. I presume John B`s is the spot for drink anyway?

Punting wise I`d say it will be difficult enough but the craic should be good.

Lads are ye going to have myself and duckingandidving down in Listowel on Friday with no tips. Even if they are not great tips some information on the runners would make me feel part of the conversation, otherwise I will spend all day indoors and we dont want that now do we?
