DLS need to start well , something missing in their previous club campaigns . Jake Dillon ( Super potential , uncannily like Flynn in style ) and Nevin etc need to chip in and help Mullane if DLS are to nudge through ...

Jake Dillon is an awesome talent. Unreal potential, but I just think he needs to chip in with some more scores. But the potential the young lad has is frightening. In fairness to Paudi Nevin has been probably the best player for DLS in the last few matches. I think DLS will win on Saturday but they will need to turn in another 60 minutes like they did in the Munster final.

I bloody well hope so but nothing would surprise me.
I think DLS will win this. They have a pretty serious 15 at this stage (goalkeeper aside ) . I think too much pressure is being put on Dillon. He wasn`t as good in the last the couple of games but is still so young.
Paidi Nevin looks like a great player. I can`t understand why this guy isn`t on the Waterford panel when the likes of Jamie Nagle and Eoin Mcgrath are.

Both Semi`s on TV Saturday. I have never been that impressed with De La Salle but i doubt Clarinbridge are as good as they were when they reached the club final, super team in that time.

Yeah both semi`s are on TV. It`s going to be some day of sport.
Mrs gone away for the weekend, I`ll be perched up on a barstool in Fagans at 13.30. O`Loughlin Gaelsv Loughriel Shamrocks, 15.30 DLS v Clarinbridge and then off down to Croke Park for Dub v Tipp and Dub v Cork. Then back to the pub. There`ll be about 20 pints of stout drank!!!

Its very hard know anything about Galway sides that aren`t Portumna because they don`t have to play any provisional games so we don`t see them. We`ve all seen pleanty of DLS and O`Loughlin and both seem like very good sides. Clarinbridge are obviously very good too but I`m just basing things on what I have seen. there are no super teams left though so it`s anyones really. Loghriel are in with a good shout too I may add.

I heard from a source close to DLS that they are concerned with the speed of CB forwards. All there focus in training is on defending a running game and hoping to win a tight game. In fairness to them they have being fairly successful with this tactic in recent times.

I think the game will be tighter than people expect but hard to know how good Clarinbridge are in reality. They got the best possible draw in the county semi-finals against suprise package of the season in Tynagh Abbey Duniry and then saw Portumna beaten by Loughrea in the other semi. Don`t think they would have beaten Port (although they usually give them a tough game ) but they obviously fancied their chances against Loughrea and eventually beat them after a replay.
They had nobody on the Galway team last year and probably won`t this year either. They do have Barry Daly and Eoin Forde on the panel alright. The two Kerins brothers are still the main men for them and while their intercounty careers are in the past they are still excellent club hurlers.

Why is that? Is he not entitled to let the hair down and have a few pints? Whats that to do with his knowledge of hurling?

Think Dls will win this but by no more than a point or two...i think Clarinbridge are missing one of ther Kearns brothers too...should be a good game anyway...

Well to be honest, and now I don`t want you and the boy having a knicker fit now, but he can`t go and enjoy watching a few games with having "20 pints" it`s little wonder he doesn`t have a clue what went in a match the next day. So the Growler might just be trying to show him the error of his ways, like a bit of hard love so to speak. But sure if he doesn`t want to be helped.
