Boylan announces final squad, as Aussies arrive
Seàn Boylan, the Irish International Rules Manager, has announced his final squad of 25 players for the Coca Cola International Rules Test in Pearse Stadium, Galway next Saturday.
The squad is as follows:
Kieran McGeeney (Captain)
Tadhg Kennelly (Sydney Swans & Kerry)
Aidan O Mahoney,
Marc Ó Sé,
Kieran Donaghy,
Paul Galvin,
Kevin Reilly,
Anthony Moyles,
Graham Geraghty
Alan Quirke,
Nicholas Murphy,
Ronan Clarke,
Stephen Mc Donnell
Tom Kelly
Colm Begley (Brisbane Lions & Laois),
Sean Martin Lockhart,
Shane Ryan,
Alan Brogan
Kieran Fitzgerald,
Joe Bergin
Sean Cavanagh
Brendan Coulter
Dermot Early
Paul Barden

Boylan also named three players who will be on standby for selection. They are Stephen O’ Nèill of Tyrone, Dessie Dolan of Westmeath and Darragh O’ Sè of Kerry.
The Australian squad arrived in Ireland yesterday and are currently staying in Killarney where they will have training sessions today and tomorrow. The game in Galway has sold out and already over 55,000 tickets have been allocated for Croke Park.
Mo Durkan, Public Affairs and Communications Manager of Coca-Cola Bottlers Ireland: "Sean and his management team have been working with some of the best footballers in the country over the last eight weeks or so, and had the unenviable task over the weekend of picking the final panel of 25 players to represent Ireland. We would like to wish him, and everyone involved with the Irish team, the very best of luck against the Australians in the coming days".
