How do ye lads think Rovers will do at the lane tomorrow?

Things on the up and up for Spurs at the moment, Addy, JD, Sandro, Kaboul, The King all stepping up a gear. I think Spurs may be dining at European Football`s top table  again next year, if not this team is finished. Looking good though really entertaining football. The Scum are in serious decline, Liverpool easily dispatched, top 4 for spurs, they just have to step it up now and take it.

Is anyone here a season ticket holder or One Hotspur?
Bronze member myself, usually go to 4-5 games a year.

COYS.

If they can keep within 2 of spurs that will be a result.

I think this year is vitally important for Spurs transforming from a selling/feeder club to one that is attractive for the best footballers. They MUST qualify for the CL. If the first team can do it, a good run in the europa league will be a huge advantage this year for the up and coming spurs stars, giving them a taste of european football.

I think Addy has added a huge confidence boost to the team, JDefoe needs someone like him around to perform. Arry is the perfect man manager for Addy.

Any spurs fans never been to the lane should take the trip its a magic athmosphere in an old style ground that may soon be gone. I hope the Northumberland Park Development goes ahead, at the moment you are waiting for people to die to get a season ticket..

Just one question, Duke. How can you be a Spurs fan and never been to a match at White Hart Lane. I can`t understand that one.

Spurs will have a second string out tonight, Redknapp treats this competition as a longer version of the Carling Cup. His aim and that of the club  (and rightly so )  is to finish in the top 4 and get Champions League Football back to White Hart Lane. The Europa League is a joke of a competition anyway. I cant see Spurs thumping Shamrock Rovers and Rovers may well come away with something.

I have read your posts and I was not referring to yourself. I was pointing out to your statement in your second post "Any Spurs fan never been to the Lane should take the trip etc." I don`t see how anybody who has never been to a match at White Hart Lane could regard himself or herself as a Spurs fan. Surely, if anyone supports a team they will go to see them play from time to time. It would be like someone claiming to be a Dublin supporter, but never having been at a match in Croke Park.

a Bronze member but usually do about 15 games per season ...mostly home games and a few London derbies ...Chelsea, Fulham, West ham etc not to mention 1 or 2 distant away days .

Will go tonight but only out of curiousity as it`s Rovers . the stadium will not be full though and there are still plenty tickets available for anyone curious enough and in the locality.
Spurs putting out the young lads and a few who need game time on their way back from injury. Rovers just might get something out of this. As far as I can see Spurs are not bothered nor are the fans . I see this comp as worth staying in if only to offer the young lads and periphery players some game time ...other then that it`s a few beers on Thursday when the wife is not bothered to let me out.

Great evening for it . Hope there is no trouble

What trouble? Shamrock Rovers?
There wont even be trouble on Sunday when you host Arsenal.

Well I hope not , was told that 5k are coming for the game and i also believe that they (some of them )  pride themselves on having some sort of a firm  (which is laughable really ) . Just don`t want to see any bullsh1t around the stadium.

Now when the gooners come up thats a different story hope they keep them in until midnight :- )

Listening to Harry`s press conference yesterday, he has absolutely no interest in the Rovers match. When asked whether he had one eye on the Arsenal match at the weekend, he replied "I have two eyes on the Arsenal match".

That said, Rovers will prob do well to keep it to 4.

Fair enough, your question threw me a bit probably should read `how can someone.. not `how can you... i`m sure there are plenty of people here supporting clubs in England and around the world who have never been to a game. People with just a passing interest right up to people who always intend to go to a game but can`t for whatever reason, be it financial, or just never got around to it.

I followed spurs as a young lad without going to a game but then when I met a good friend in college we went to games together. I would probably have had to go on my own before that. Not that many Spurs fans about, not that I know anyway.

Shamrock Rovers firm BarnaBee? Have you ever seen that clip of them outside the Hill 16 bar? There`s only about 20 or so of them and they spend most of their time shouting and roaring obscene things and throwing bins. Firm my ar$e. Even if they were stupid enough to contemplate it, they`ll have worked out the ratio  (i.e. 20:1 )  and decided against it. Your mob have numbers, one of the biggest in the land. Well into the hundreds last time I got wind of their activities.

Half time, 0-0.

They are raving about Rice on C5, and rightly so, he has been excellent, quite apart from the goal.

Rovers playing some nice stuff, wont be long before we see Bale and Modric i`d say. 58 mins gone now.

Professional fitness levels will probably tell in the end but they are doing themselves and the league proud.
