well lads saturday in the gaelic grounds they go to battle
i think Coolderry have came in under the radar this year
with most lads picking Oulart or Ballyboden to win leinster
after james stephens went out but not for the first time the offaly lads proved most wrong and won a leinster handy enough after.
i haven`t seen Gort but any team that comes out of Galway won`t be simple as they have a great record in the club and have some ex galway minors and Richie Murray on board.
i have went for Coolderry since last year to win this out as they were kept down for years by a great Birr side but now i think Coolderrys time has come to be in the spot light.
i think the have the forwards in Carroll, parlon Damien Murray, young Eoin Ryan plus the Brady brothers to take Gort on saturday.
Coolderry by 5 points.

I`d say it`s Richie Cummins you`re thinking of bluesky, Richie Murray is with St Thomas`. I think Gort have come in somewhat under the radar themselves, don`t think there is as much expected of them, as there has been of Galway Champs in the past. They certainly won`t be underestimating Coolderry anyway.

Fingers crossed now. I have a feeling Loughgiel might turn Na Piarsaigh over in the other one.

There will be no timber spared anyway Yankee!
A South Galway vs South Offaly matchup is likely to be a lively encounter. Brings back great memories of 1980/81 and those two great warriers, Sylivie and the late Pat Carroll RIP. Hoping for a Gort victory but it will be tough going.

Tadhg is also his son. The other Linnanes I think are his nephews.

Gort have had a couple of challenge games recentley, which they have fared poorly in. The main man of Gort hurling is Ollie Fahy. Still a quality forward in his own right. I am sure now they are beginning to hit championship mode for the Semi-final.

Darragh is also sylvies son, so is shane, i dont know is he still on the panel. Having seen both of them play I`d give coolderry the nod, just based on the strength of the forward lines. But it should be tight.

Coolderry are 10/11 with Paddy Power. They could be worth a few euro at that price.

There`s nine bookies on oddschecker, one of the nine is making Coolderry 10/11 and Gort 11/10, and one of the nine is making it Gort 10/11 and Coolderry 11/10. The other seven are all even money each of two.
No favourites here, that`s as even a book as you`ll ever get. Hard to argue with that logic either.

This is literally too close to call.
2 points
1 ) The Coolderry forward line is much better and more balanced than Gort`s.
2 ) Despite the Leinster Final performance, I think Joe Brady is a potential weakness-and someone like Matt Murphy will have copped this.
Heres the best value bet I can see on the match-Cathal Parlon the first to score for his team at 4/1
