The Great GAA Quiz
Clarecastle GAA Club are staging a very unique GAA table Quiz in the West County in Ennis on Thursday night, February 23rd, starting at 8.30.
The quiz will contain ten rounds of ten questions, all on GAA. No foreign games!
There will be a sepcial round of questions devoted to 1992 and 1995. The specialised questions from 1992 will be set by Frankie Griffin who played a starring role for Clare in that historic year, with Anthony Daly setting the 95 round. Heroes of those years will be there on the night, some delivering the questions.
First prize for a tble of four is worth having, 4 GAA season tickets, valued at €600.
table of 4 for €40, all in aid of Clarecastle GAA Club.
PS: Plenty of questions will be Google Free - ie, a mobile phone will be no good to you!

The tie breaker will probably be based on the Maggie`s goalie in the 1973 Co Final.

And a question about how many sheets of galvanise was pulled off the roof of the dressing room in the infamous match with Crusheen in the 60s.

Nice to see that a former sponsor of Eire Og is providing the venue. I hope he was kind enough to offer a discount rate to our neighbours.
