Having a look at this game tonight. Chelsea will be on a high after coming out of the derby with Spurs on Sunday on the back of a 5-1 win plus the game is on in Stamford Bridge. Having watched Barcelona a fwe times lately, I noticed that they werent as hungry or nearly as fluid as they were this time last year when you couldnt get the ball off them and when you did, hold it for more then 3 passes. AC Milan had plenty of chances in both legs and that AC Milan team is very ordinary. So I fancy both sides to score in this game.
Have gone with Torres to score at any time 10/3. Seeing as Drogba started Sunday, I expect Torres to start tonight and he has been playing very well lately. And Messi to score 2 or more 11/4 as he'll be taking any penalty should they get one as well as dead ball situations of which i fancy them to have a few if Chelsea put the boot in (which I expect). Even threw £1 on a 3-3 draw at 66/1 and another on a 2-2 draw at 25s.
Dont think this will be the cake walk all these "pundits" I hear are predicting. The second leg could well be, but not this game.

I think Chelsea have had a lot of luck on their side recently, notably V Wigan and Spurs.Barca by their own high standards have struggled against some very mediocre opposition in La Liga.I agree both teams will score tonight.
2 2 for me.

That is some miserable price for Torres considering his "form". Think this will be a score draw or Barca to win 2-1 and beat them by 2 or more in the 2nd leg. This is an average Chelsea team compared to 3 or 4 years ago despite the recent revival. Any odds on at least 1 red card? There should be a nice bit of needle in this match and with thespians of the quality of Drogba, Busquets and Alves on show there should be plenty of sniper activity on display.

Regarding Busquets or was it Pedro(?) how I'd give anything to see Roy Keane in his heyday come flying in on the blind side and send him 3 feet into the air.

I feel the same. If he could do the Busquets exactly what he did to Haaland I couldnt ask for more.

That goal might upset Barca. I cant see them not scoring in the second half. Although it would make for an interesting game next week if it stays as it is.

Barca 12/5 now with Paddy Power.

Sometimes wonder why they don't get caught on the break more often like they did there. They basically play with 2 defenders who are stood on halfway for most of the match. With a tough tackling midfield and a couple of speed merchants up top agaist them, they'd be bound to cough up a few opportunities.

I wonder if RTE would consider getting a mute button for Ronnie Whelan.

"Ashley Cole has left his foot behind and kicked him."

Shut the fcuk up Ronnie. Almost as bad as Pat Dolan at this stage.

He's an insufferable príck. I switched over to ITV after approximately 20 seconds of being subjected to his whiny voice.

I give Chelsea full credit for their win tonight but you would have to fear what Barcelona will do to them in the second leg! Barcelona must wonder what they have to do to score a goal! 3 nil to Barcelona in second leg!
