Death of Mr. Thomas Floyd RIP, Father of Tim

The death has occurred of Mr. Thomas Floyd of Gortybrigane, Birdhill, Tipperary, father of Tim Floyd Runai Choiste Chontae Thiobriad Arann and Denis Floyd, former Chairman of the North Tipperary GAA Board and the Tipperary Coaching and Games Development Committee. He was also grandfather to Tipperary senior hurling panellists Shane and Donagh Maher.
Tipperary County Board would like to extend its deepest sympathy to Mr. Floyd's wife, Kathleen and to Tim, Denis, their brothers and sisters, Shane, Donagh and all their family and friends at this sad time.

Funeral Arrangements are as follows:
Thomas Floyd, Gortybrigane, Birdhill, Co. Tipperary, April 24th 2012 peacefully at the Regional hospital Limerick, deeply regretted by his loving wife Kathleen, sister Peg (Larkin), sons and daughters, Denis, Breda (Maher), Margaret (Kersey), Joseph, Patrick, Gerard, Timmy, Mary Ryan, Anne, Kathleen Quinlan and Anthony, daughters in law, sons in law, 37 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, niece, relatives, neighbours and friends. Rest in Peace.
Reposing at Meehan's funeral home Newport this Wednesday eve from 4 o'clock with removal at 8 o'clock to Birdhill church. Requiem Mass on Thursday at 11.30 o'clock burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
