I might head in to Tullamore tommorow if I thought there any hope of Ros causing an upset but Dublin have destroyed all their opposition so far this year and look more like a senior team than an U-21 team.I have a feeling a hiding similar to what Galway dished out in the final last year could be on the cards.

Best of luck to both teams tomorrow, may the best team win.

Personally I think Dublin will win it, they seem to have the edge in an attacking sense, had a tougher SF against Cork and have one of the most exciting talents in years in young Ciarán Kilkenny (brilliant hurler as well, if only Dublin can convince him not to go to Australia we could be seeing a dual legend).

Incidentally I think its a great idea to play the U21 championship in the first half of the year, and I think hurling should follow suit as the U21 championships would provide very competitive matches early in the year for developing players, the same players looking to make a name for themselves in the county come summer, and also especially as it frees up U21 players for later in the year for county and club games.

Would TG4 turn up the volume of the microphones on the side of the pitch. There is a huge crowd at the match yet on TV it sounds like nobody is at it.If the crowd drowns out the commentary then so what

Dublin 1-5 Roscommon 0-6

Defences were on top for the first 20 minutes when Ros dominated and they probably should have been about 6 points up after 20 mins.In the last 10 mins of the half Dublin took over in midfield and have started to play and Hudson scored a teriffic goal for them.Ciaran Kilkenny has missed a few chances you would expect him to get.the game has opened up in the last10 minutes of the half ans some great scores were kicked.Shine has been impressive for Roscommon in midfield ,is he related to Donie Shine?

Dubs in trouble here. Good game and should be a close finish.

I thought Emmet was man of the match, nothing went over him in the second half when he was needed. The man to partner MDMA for the summer.

Was flicking between this and the Man City/Newcastle game, looked like the whole of County Roscommon was in Tullamore, tremendous support. Gave a great account of themselves too against a strong Dublin team.
