Galway won handy, about 2-18 to 0-17.In fairness Limerik missing a few due to U21 county finals.

Hardly much of an excuse, not like that many were missing and it can hardly have been a full Galway team. Any more info would be great lads!

A 5-point defeat isn't too bad - if that's a fair reflection of the game and not a case of Limerick being well behind and then being allowed to catch up in the last 10 mins (due to our superior fitness level!).
Anyone willing to post up the Galway team out of interest?

A 5 point win for Galway against Limerick is tidy. Galway will be confident going into championship this year. However we will be up against a very confident Antrim side in the QF of Leinster, with their All Ireland winning Loughgiel players. Galway to beat Antrim by a close 2 or 3 points, instead of the 14 point defeat of Dublin. Maybe, time will tell.
