Try clicking Login rather than just pressing Enter.
Embarrassingly took me a few days to try that, too much of a keyboard merchant and used to just hitting Enter - must have stopped working lately - I know one other person at least had the same trouble logging in as I did.

Yeah been happening to me but i figured it out immediately. To be honest i thought i had been banned again for a second. Advised AFR about this through the 'contact us' link but got no reply

Started happening for me around the same time as the search function brought back all the old classic posts so thought I'd been banned for something that came up from the past alright! Even there I had to login again to reply and first time I hit enter again out of habit, that'll take a bit of getting used to!
