Cork GAA Open Evening
In advance of the upcoming Munster and All-Ireland Championships, Cork GAA will hold an Open Evening to provide our supporters with a unique opportunity to meet our Inter-county hurling and football stars.
Members of the Cork Senior Hurling and Football panels and management will be available to meet supporters from 8-9pm on Friday May 11th at Páirc Uí Chaoimh.
Come along and meet your heroes!!

Open Night for Tipp SH panel this Thursday from 6pm
The GAA nationally has requested all counties to hold an open night for supporters on this coming Thursday or Friday evening. These events are part of the national campaign to promote this years football and hurling championships. The theme of this year’s promotion is to encourage as many as possible to attend championship games using the slogan “nothing beats being there”. There will be plenty of attractive ticket packages for provincial and national championship games all designed to make it easy and affordable for supporters, particularly families, to attend games.
Tipperary’s open night will be at Semple Stadium on Thursday evening, May 10 from 6pm to 7.30pm.
Supporters will get to meet the senior hurling players and management and get autographs on jerseys, hurleys etc. Supporters are also welcome to remain on to see the team train afterwards. Unfortunately the senior footballers will not be available for the open evening as they are playing a challenge game. We hope as many supporters as possible can come along on Thursday night and show their support for the team. The first round Munster championship games for both footballers and hurlers against Kerry and Limerick respectively at Semple Stadium on Sunday May 27 are only a few weeks away and those games present a unique opportunity to come out and support both teams as they kick off what hopefully will be successful championship campaigns.
Nothing on the Clare, Kerry, Limerick or Waterford websites about this initiative.
