those results are shocking.
Best game by a country mile is liverpool v Newcastle 1996/1996 season Stan Collymore 90th minute winner pure exhiliration.
Best player seems fair since giggs was playing for utd since he was in nappies.
Best celebration is not right either. what about lua lua for pompey and newcastle ,those amount of black flips had me dizzy.
Best goal/goals have to be frank sinclairs for leicster in the late 90'early 00's .two sublime o.g's at the start of the season especially the one against the boro away

Rooney's overhead kick is a dodgy enough call for best goal, was there a shortlist? There has been an awful lot of amazing goals, i'm thinking LeTissier especially, a strike no matter how difficult doesn't deserve it in my opinion, there is a huge element of luck involved, i'm sure many will disagree,
Crouch's recent goal against city was almost as good.

I'm a Utd fan and voted for Bergkamp as best goal and Newcastle Liverpool as best game... hard to argue with SAF as Manager of the last 20 years, Giggs probably gets the award for being around the longest. Who won best save? I voted for Shay Given (keep it Irish boys)

Di Canio's goal was the best. Don't know if it was short listed. Way more difficult to do.

i forget who it was, think it was the sunderland goalie for a lucky save more than a great save,if that makes any since!(gordon)

I agree, Sinclairs was a better overhead kick, but then again thats QPR, Di Canios and Bergkamps were unique.
Game: Liverpool v Newcastle

Have to say Liverpool-Newcastle the best game as far as I remember. What a great season that was,95/96.What do people think of Arsenal's invincibles beng voted the best team?Would have thought Man U of 98/99 myself, but then again I'm a Utd fan so I'm biased I suppose

North London Derby should be given some type of an award. Some crackers in that in recent years.

The whole Treble Team vs. the Invincibles debate is one that'll never go away. Impossible to find a definitive answer on which achievement is more impressive... but as this award was for the Premier League only the award had to go to the Invincibles... that Utd team only won the league on the last day of the season. You'd never get a majority answer if it was for best English Club side of the last 20 years.

Some how Arsene Wenger managed to get all 3 goalkeepers at least 10 appearances so they all got a medal

Ashley Cole, massively overrated. Denis Irwin was better.

I'm sorry. I can't agree with that.
Irwin was quality and aproper pro but Cashley is the better player. Not by much though!

Apologies Faldo, I never noticed you already had a thread on this when I started the Giggs one.
