Where else? Only Limerick.
According to the distinguished Sports Editor of Live 95FM, Liam Aherne, Limerick County Board held a Press Night this evening for their hurlers but only one media representative turned up. Because none of them had been told.
On Twitter: Liam Aherne?@laherne95 reports:
Limerick hurlers "press night" was tonight.. Pity nobody from the press was told about it #limerickgaa
Liam comments:
Typical County Board all blaming each other after tonight's screw up re the press night #joke

Wait for the 'That never happened' line to emerge in an official statement as per all happenings for the last 10 years.

Ha ha ha love it. That county board are some crowd in fairness. Credit where it's due, they will get publicity alright. Problem is is that it will be a day late.... What harm anyways, those meeja fellas will be no help next weekend in Thurles when the going gets tough so why invite em to training. Its not like they can take part in the session

I guessed it was going to be the Limerick county board before I opened the thread.
Any idiots planning to waste their time going to the Tipp match need their heads examined. Imagine contributing money and time to these people.

Imagine not giving the players the support you deserve because you are a sheep who follows a minority flock

Support the players? Players such as Seamus Hickey and Gavin O Mahoney stopped being deserving of support when they refused to play for their county and watched them get relegated. There are still some idiots who waste their time going to the div1b games and follow these same players?
These guys should have never been allowed to wear the county jersey again. If Henry Shefflin refused to play for his county, would Brian Cody ever let him play again?
They got rid of a good manager and replaced him with Donal O Grady who requested to have Limerick re-relegated. And look where things are now, a lot of talented young players coming through and a bad team environment means they won't achieve their full potential. Justin McCarthy would have been a fantastic manager for the young talented players, but they have been left with a management team that is disjointed and the senior players are players who refused to play and watched their team relegated.
It really is a case of firing everyone and starting again.
But, if people have nothing better to do than to waste money and time following these guys around the country, that's fine and good luck to them. The smart people who actually care will vote with their feet and will send a message that way.

Sorry, you are dead right actually. I agree with you after reading that. Very convincing. Must be great knowing you will be the only smart person around next weekend

And for the record, I hope I am wrong. I wish things weren't like this.
It used to be great going to matches, the behaviour of the strikers has ruined it for everyone.
