Haha say Dans intrest in the football is minamal enough. I like Dan though, hope he is brought in to comment on a few of the hurling games. Watched his laochra gael a few weeks back, an icon of the hurling world and a very intresting character.

dont get the point of the Dan gig at all. Maybe if he spoke to one or two of the players or the hurlers that can kick ball like Brick Walsh and Shane Walsh, the thing might have taken on some relevance.

Lads, c'mon, he was brutal. A great hurler but there's no media career there.

No, he wasn't great now to be honest. The strong accent is hard to work out, and the obvious fact he was reading a lot of the lines didn't help.
Dan may get back at the hurling and forget about any future media work!!
Was a good idea tho by Sunday game crew to make a Lim v Wat game interesting. hearing reports of a crowd of 600-700 at it!!

Surely the attendance numbers you mentioned at the match must be wrong

2500 at it. Might not be the exact figure but the figure they released was around that

I dunno, obviously wasn't at it, But a friend of mine was and said there was between 700 & 1000. Official att was given as just under 2500 i think. Say truth was in between maybe a 1500 or so

Is Dan's regional brogue putting some people off?
Let's give the man a fair chance at it for a while.
