Was looking at a few pairs there on ebay, would they be suitable for football. They look deadly.

They were designed solely for catching and holding a ball and not for when you need to let go of the ball for passing, soloing, hopping or scoring.

They look grand and light though not like the soccer gloves. Wonder is there any in the shops to have a look at.

This is correct and they would be pure useless and even a deterrent playing Gaelic football.
