Why is this man being tolerated and granted meetings with the likes of Kofi Annan?
Time to declare him a war criminal and arm the resistance to his tyranny.

The Russians are refusing to sign off on it as they feel they were led down the garden path on Libya and most countrys are not too sure what the resistance is made up of

There is probably a short term need to try to put a stop to the crimes that he is overseeing, hence Kofi Annan's role, but he should definitely finish up in The Hague

I dont think the Syrian situation is as straightforward as is being reported. It is a very complicated situation. If you read Michael Jannsen's (?) articles in the Irish Times when this uprising started he painted quite a different picture to what the general media is depicting the situation in the Western media. The general gist was that there was bad on both sides , that the rebels main weapon was propaganda and that they knew how to slant the story in order to get the sympathies of the Western powers.Having said that , the massacre a few days ago appears to have been very much the responsibility of government forces , but overall I think it's close to a civil war situation over there but Bassad has quite considerable support within the country
