Do you want to train like a top county player and experience an environment with excellent facilities and high performance coaches?
The DCU Academy High Performance Gaelic Football Camp in association with Bank of Ireland and O'Neill's for Boys and Girls aged 12-15 who play Gaelic Football with their club/county takes place in June.
Week 1 commences on June 18th next and Week 2 on June 25th, from 9.30am-4.30pm daily from Monday-Friday.
The camp costs 175Euro, including Rain top, gloves and water bottle, and participants will receiving coaching from Dublin footballers Paul Flynn, Jonny Cooper and Lyndsay Peat.
Special guest coaches will also make appearances during the week.
The purpose of the camp is to give aspiring young players the tools to compete, not only through intensive technical and tactical Gaelic Football training, but also by educating players how to prepare and behave away from training.
Activities: A combination of Gaelic football skills with components of:
* Nutrition
* Pre match preparation
* Speed training
* Pool Recovery
* Injury prevention
* Fitness Testing
* Functional screening
* Conditioning

This camp is for the motivated player who is looking to be challenged, with an ambition of playing at an Inter-county level. Players must have reasonable skill and be playing at a good standard in order to benefit from the camp format. We tailor our camp to meet the requirements of this age group, and all activities and coaching will allow you the player to develop in an enjoyable environment.
