With a lot of families of coloured players not going for fear of their safety, and English fans been warned that they are going to be singled out for a good kicking, you would have to wonder why the hell FIFA gave the euros to the polls/Ukraine's.
I wouldn't bother my arse going just from a safety aspect but each to their own I guess.its the first time Ireland have been in a big compition of note so I hope that it's all kept under control!
You would still have to wonder with the big racist aspect that FIFA even thought about having this tournament here!

Well now to be honest FIFAs recent track record of awarding tournaments to innappropiate countries isnt great but in fairness to them, they have absolutely nothing to do with who gets the Euros its UEFAs decision.

Sol Campbell really stoked fire over here, with the Panorama chaps. "Coming home in coffins".
Some people now thinking, not safe to go, will we get our money back from FA, doubt it.
Poland dodgy enough ground, but Ukraine came across as a whole different level.
Money and corruption talks, so that's why FIFA went down that route. Take me back to USA 94, now that was a tournament!!

Firstly, UEFA not FIFA
Secondly, it's not the 1st time Ireland have been in a big competition of note.

think there will be a fair bit of trouble.when you look at the teams that have qualified, and some of the history between those nations, its possible trouble could flare.
dont think irish fans will have too much to worry about, but i think with countries like poland, russia, england and germany there could be mayhem.
some of those polish lads are big and are found of the gym.wouldnt fancy coming up against 1 of them in there own turf.

Its not the gym that would bother me, its the shank in his hand that would get my attention. Fond of carrying them they are, no different to a mobile.
Reckon there'll be all out war.
Poland v Germany
Poland v England
England v Germany
Italy v Germany (the current political climate could fuel that one) Greeks might fancy themselves too if enough of them can afford to go.

A pal lf mine was saying that while some of the Polish lads you see around the place are built like brick sh1thouses are they generally wouldn't hurl spuds to ducks if you put it up to them.
Don't know how true that info is as I'm not into fighting but maybe someone who has brawled with some of these Polish lads can confirm.
Also said they are on drugs, anyone else hear that?

What are you on about? We have been to plenty of "compitions" if that's how you want to spell it. Germany for Euro 88, Italy for WC 90, USA for WC 94, and South Korea/Japan for WC 2002.
Not our 1st time

I doubt Irish supporters have much to worry about to be honest. A lot of Eastern Europeans would have sought work here in the past decade or so and fans rarely see trouble where they go. Ireland are generally seen as a nation that bring a good crowd and a party atmosphere and cause little trouble.
England on the other hand.............only time will tell but there could be trouble at their games!

Looks like a good time will be had by all so.Exactly the kind of place I always wanted to spend my Summer vacation but for some strange reason never quite got around to it.

I'd say it's no coincidence that England have been drawn to play their games in the Ukraine. They reckon it will be the smallest travelling support for a major tournament in recent years for England. If any English fan wants to start trouble there, then good luck to them.

Watched that panorama programme last night and there was a lot of bull in it. None of the towns they went to in Poland are actually hosting any games. Bit like showing gangs in estates in Limerick and saying there will be trouble at the All Ireland final in Dublin. That said, if I was a black English fan I might wait to see if they qualify out of the Ukraine and go then! As for the big Polish lads not being up to much, I wouldn't want to test the theory.
