The engine revs, car reversing out of the driveway. It's hot, the sun daring to peek out behind the clouds as morning comes to an end, replaced by an afternoon of anticipation.

Munster final 1982 for me but I can't remember it.
1983 munster football final, went down the pairc with some of my mates in the days when you'd ask someone if you could go in with them.
My first vivid memories are from the 84 munster final in Thurles and the absolute joy we got from that, although i didn't even know the meaning of the word at the time i recall a definite arrogance from the Tipp crowd when it looked to be there's, i remember thinking it was queer for a crowd who hadn't won a game of note in my lifetime.
