I reckon 4 points has a good chance of getting us through.

If Croatia put three past us I'll eat my hat. This Irish team won't concede more than two in any game. I'm going to go for
Ireland 1 - 0 Croatia
Ireland 0 - 2 Spain
Ireland 2 - 2 Italy

Really hope I am wrong on all games , but given my good track record it's not looking good for Ireland.

The game against Hungary will stand to them for the Croatia game. Not sure we'll beat Croatia but can see us sneaking a draw.
Ireland 1 1 Croatia
I dont see us beating or holding Spain but without Villa they will struggle, might be optimistic but can see us keeping them to 1 goal
Ireland 0 Spain 1
It'll all come down to how we perform against Italy probably. We were fortunate to draw with Italy in Italy in the World Cup qualifiers - Noel Hunt claiming he scored a goal. We were unfortunate not to win in Croke Park in the return fixture. Im not sure this Italy team is as good as that side despite having many of the same personnel. The match-fixing scandal might unite them however so its hard to know which side will turn up. Hard to predict but i reckon we'll sneak another draw in a dire game.
Ireland 1 1 Italy

Don't bother watching them so. I swear some people here want Ireland to lose.

With the results we have had in the season thats just finished its impossible to predict scorelines. However there is one game where I think I can see the outcome and no doubt RebelRebel, Blanco and Jimbo will agree with me. With Howard Webb in charge of the game between Russia and Czech Republic, I can predict a win for Manchester United.

The way Trap has us organized we are very difficult to play against and in particular score against. The away game against Russia is the kind of result this team is very capable of. The Croatia game is the one we have to win, win that and we have a great chance to progress. Italy are in disarray and are a poor Italian squad by their standards, great player but if they are still relying on Pirlo at this stage of his career they must not have much. Richard Dunne to kick a few lumps out of Balotelli early on and get him sent off.
Ireland 1 Croatia 0
Spain 3 Ireland 1
Ireland 1 Italy 1
Ireland progress on goal difference due to Italians having same number of points as us but losing 3-0 to Spain.
Can't wait for Sunday now, come on you boys in Green.
