Yankeeland, I have a friend, former intercounty Clare hurler living in the Mid West , USA who used to drive a few hours into Denver to try and watch the hurling and football championship matches at an unearthly hour. The pub he used to go to haven't said if they will be showing the Clare v Waterford game next weekend so he is already looking at flying somewhere to watch it.
I know you get to see them at home but was wondering if you could post up how you get them i.e. who do you subscribe to etc.

Thanks for your help, Time!!!

Tell him to log on to the website Overplay.net where he will receive instructions on how to sign up and launch it.This will provide him with an Irish ip and direct access to Irish tv.This service costs only $10.00 per month and will allow him access to all the Irish tv chanels. He should then log on to AERTV website which provides free streaming by just clicking on to whatever Irish chanel he may want to view.It is a pretty simple process and he can watch all sports that may be on tv in future. If he is not too tech savvy I am sure someone he knows is and will help him out.Good luck.Hon the Banner

Thanks very much for this Yankee. I sent him the link to this post and spoke to him a few minutes ago so he is delighted. No doubt he'll be ringing me back again in a few minutes with questions!

Roll on Sunday.

That is great to hear but make sure that he logs on to the AERTv website after he logs into Overplay.Tell him to do a dry run on it during the week so that he will not have any problems on Sunday at gametime.Sometimes during the match the picture may freeze and all he has to do is just click back on the chanel to get it back running. To both Clare and your friend on Sunday the best of luck
