I am battling a serious and debilitating illness. I don't think it's fatal but it has wrecked my quality of life for the moment.
It is preventing me from giving the site the level of monitoring and attention it requires. I appeal to people to avoid posting a comment that ends up being reported as offensive. If you're commenting on a ref, a player, an official or a public figure, ask yourself would say it to them face-to-face if they knew who you are?
I have a facility to make the site 'read-only' but if everybody uses a bit of cop on we can avoid trouble.
I have cleared a backlog of new registrations and will continue to do this regularly.
Those of you who still pray, please keep me in mind.

Liam,
I am sorry to hear this and will keep you in my prayers.
Get well soon. The G.A.A. needs this site but far more importantly your family needs you fit and healthy.
God willing you'll pull through.

God will give you the strength to get through this okay Liam and in any case He wouldn't deprive you of seeing Waterford win an AI. Hang in there and God bless.

Just to repeat what I said on Facebook, I will in my own way offer prayers for your speedy recovery. Hopefully you will be back at the helm soon.
We need this site to keep going, what else would we do of an evening?

Go raibh biseach iomlán ort chomh luath in Éirinn agus is féidir. Uaireanta sílimid nach bhfuil maitheas ar bith i mbreoiteacht ach go minic ní bhíonn i gceist ach an Saol Mór nó Dia nó pé cumhacht a stiúrann ár saol ag rá linn go bhfuil sé in am d'athrú. Foghlaimímid i bhfad níos mó ó na dúshláin a seoltar inár dtreo ná ón saol bog ciúin gan stró. Tá éacht déanta agat leis an suíomh seo agus táim cinnte go bhfuil éachtaí eile romhat san aimsir amach romhainn. Beir bua agus beannacht agus glac misneach ó na laochra spóirt a sháraigh agus a sháraíonn deacrachtaí le misneach is le fonn i gcónaí. Ardfhear!
