just wondering has anyone else read some of their comments on their facebook page.along with gregory campbell they are accusing some of our fans of sectarian behaviour in poland.some outrageous comments.really trying to give us a bad name.personally think they need to get their own house in order before having a go at the republic.

You have to understand just how painful it is for some norn iron/our wee country types to see the "beggars" in the euros when they are sitting at home. The pure hatred and loathing really comes to the fore. But at least they have England to cheer on

they are the biggest shower of scum in world sport the northern ireland fans. Its the one reason why I hope to god there is never a single football team on this island. Even if there is a united ireland in the future, I would rather the football teams were kept seperate. The way we have it now is grand. Weve the option to pick any players from norn iron that wants to ply for us so weve the best of both worlds.

Fvck them and fvck the Northern Ireland football team. Followed by unionist bigots, few if any Catholics playing for them. They scum they have following them got their right cumuppence a few years ago when the Poles came to town and gave them a right hiding. They have a corner of our island that history will always say was never really theirs. Was in Belfast at the weekend, drove from Castleblaney through Armagh Town, past Portadown and Craigavon and into Belfast. So many estates with Union Jacks hanging and UVF flags, even in the middle of the countryside in the villages we passed. We'll never be the same and I wouldnt want us to share anything. Enjoyed watching the Dutch thrash them thre lately in that friendly.

They used to say in Crossmaglen that they didn't even ignore the Brits, as ignoring them acknowledged the fact that they were there. No need to get worked up about these ----ers on a decent hurling forum.

Ah sure I know, I forget their even there most of the time. Reminds me, I was at a wedding in the states last summer, the mid west to be more exact, a bit out in the sticks. Anyho, got talking to a few of the locals who hadn't traveled much and were taking the opportunity to talk to a 'real european'. They had all heard about 'Ireland'; U2, Guinness, Dublin, Joyce etc, one had even heard about our national treasure, hurling, and naturally I explained to him in great detail how Galway was it's natural home. One then asked about the bombs, shootings etc and I explained that was mostly in northern Ireland.....silence! "where?" he asked, "Northern Ireland" I said. "Northern Ireland?" came his reply. It turns out none of them had ever heard of 'the wee country', even when I drew a quick map on a napkin they still claimed ignorance. So, naturally I walked up to the bar, grinning from ear to ear, and bought them all a round, my week well and truly made.

Its a shame really. Means the SPL will no longer be a league. Fair enough it has been a 2 team league but it will now cease to exist at all. Celtic need Rangers as much as Rangers need them. Celtic will now either have to ship out anybody earning any bit of decent money or try push for a place in one of the english leagues because the tv money will be next to nothing once Rangers are gone and the crowds at the matches will drop massively. Nobody is going to fork out money to see Celtic play St Johnstone or whoever in March when they are already 30 points clear. If Celtic dont get a plan in place for themselves they could end up in the same boat as their Glasgow neighbours

Sure there was a benefit match recently in Staid Windsor between Rangers and an Irish league select, raised the princely sum of £80K or there about. HMRC has its dabs on it first, quickly followed by Rapid Vienna!
