If it was to accommodate Clooney Quin it would be played Friday!!

A wedding and the Fair of Spancilhill both on 23rd June and CQ have to play anyway.

I am told there will be no matches on 24th.

I wouldn't rule out calls for it to be deferred either, but I'd severely doubt that those calls would be very well received

Why cant double headers be from games in the same group
At least people would have interested in both and have decent attendances at both games. How many times have i seen the stand empty after a game in the park with another game starting.

County champions get the houour of opening up the weekend.

Very nice double header in the park on saturday too.

Cloooney Quin v IK in clarecastle could be good but the second game could be one way traffic.

Ballyea v Mills is my choice of game in Senior B.

Because of the minor game and no games on Sunday choices will have to be made. I suppose with work only one was possible on Friday in the Park.

Id like to see our lads in action before giving a prediction on them. Injuries will be key, all going well and fully fit id give us the nod but we've a lot of lads that are making gradual recovery from injury.

Broadford finished the Cup strongly aswell!

feakle v parteen
I'm going to go with Feakle. They were the only Intermediate Team in Division 1A. Eventhough they were relegated, they had 2 wins and were unlucky not to have a few more. But Parteen are a decent enough side too so it should be close.

corofin v kilanena
I'd go with Corofin. Eventhough both teams had horrible leagues, Corofin have a better chance of improving on it. Killanena have just been raped of players with a few injuries and immigration.

bodyke v ruan
Has to be Ruan on league form. They topped Division 2 While Bodyke were relegated from Division 3.

meelick v ennistymon
I rcekon Ennistymon. We played them last weekend and they're a big hard physical team.

crusheen v smb
Both second teams who had decent leagues. Probably more surprising from Crusheen as the Bridge's 2nd's have been strong for a few years. I'd fancy The Bridge to have the stronger team once the first round of Senior is played. Crusheen are more likely to lose one or two.

newmarket v ogonnelloe
I'd certainly hope Ogonnelloe would win it. But there isn't much between us in League places. We finished Mid table in Div 2 & they topped Div 3.
