Just got my tickets for Sunday.
Am in Covered Stand COVK Row 8 Seat 418.
Is this at back of Stand or close to sideline?
If it rains am I actually "covered"?
Knowing my luck,probably not!

To be honest Barry, once you lose all felling in your legs from being wedged into the seat, the rain will be the least of your worries. The worst stand in the world bar none

You're at city end near goalline and 8 rows back from sideline. Decent view of action albeit you'll be wedged in like a sardine (unless you're a midget).
You should be dry unless rain is teeming in from River Lee direction. Not like Thurles where you get soaked unless you're 30 rows back.
By the way, don't use toilet facilities there unless you enjoy sloshing through rivers and streams of pi**.

You paint such a lovely picture for anybody who may be traveling there for the first time

It would be more comfortable to sit on the rubble if they demolished it.

If Tipp win, I hope that Waterford see sense this year and do a deal with them to have the Munster Final on in Thurles. It's nearly as much a home ground for Waterford at this stage and if the co. board could squeeze a few quid out of the deal, then all the better.
If Cork win (as they are well capable of doing), then I hope it will be in Thurles anyway. 'Tis the only spot for it really.
I will be watching the Munster Final on telly if it's on in the Páirc. My knees still haven't recovered from last year. Is there a more miserable spot to play a match in Ireland at the moment?

Of course the seven goals hurt just a little too, but it had turned into a surreal farce by the second half, so there was just a dazed feeling on the way out, combined with the numb legs.

the Gaelic Grounds in Limerick should of been looked at if the final is Waterford vs Tipperary. Its a much better and safer stadium than Pairc and would fit more spectators and would be the worth the extra travel from Waterford.
But its set in stone according to this article http://www.hoganstand.com/Waterford/ArticleForm.aspx?ID=170839
that a Waterford vs Tipp final will be on in Pairc Ui Chaoimh and a Waterford vs Cork final will be in Semple Stadium.

The reason the leg room is tight in da pairc is it was built for the average cork langer who are small, narrow minded ,suffer from aa chip on shoulder, wears a mexican hat, speak like cha & mia ,would shoot a real rebel in cthe back in bailnablaith if got half a chance and who is probobly called finbarr.
