It worries me that he won't reveal his wealthy personal donors? His super pacs despite a lot of campaign lies may do him a disservice however. Hopefully The Presidents advisors will fight fire with fire and run a lot of negative ads against the Mormon from Michigan. On top of all the great achievements he can boast, auto bailout, healthcare reform, finance reform, saving the economy from a depression etc. We need a strong leader, not a flip flopper with magic underpants.

I'm no fan of Romney or the Republican Party, who are a crowd of anti-intellectual and dishonest chancers. But what's good for the goose is good for the gander. Four years ago, Obama raised the largest sum of money ever during the Democratic primaries, and is thus in hock to interest groups. You can't have it both ways.m

But this weekend retreat romneys having for potential donors, well there's just something very sinister about it all. He's a fake, just like Bush jnr would not of got anywhere without daddy's money and influence.

You are joking "In 2008, President Barack Obama took more money from Wall Street than every presidential candidate in the last 20 years; that includes President George W. Bush. Indeed, Wall Street's donations comprised 20 percent of Obama's total fundraising."
"Among his top ten contributors were Goldman Sachs -- coming in at No. 2 -- Microsoft, Google, JP Morgan Chase & Co, and Citigroup, hardly the I-take-a-job-because-of-how-it-feels crowd."Read This article

Relax kid, just quoting the great Bill Maher is all. But no I wouldn't trust a Mormon in charge. That wasn't my initial question though. Care to answer that?

I once met a old fella that didn't vote for Kennedy in 1960 because he was Catholic.

Kennedy didn't act like one did he? My problem with republican presidents is they bow too much to their sheep and throw god almighty down our throats. Flip flopper Romney would be no differen IMO.

Btw John m, at least our President is honest about who's giving him money. That's my point.

You prefer Obama who voted for partial birth abortion-the killing of children who survive abortion. He has made a cynical attack on the Catholic Church. You also referred to the "Mormon from Michigan". Thats a cheap shot.

Well he is a Mormon from Michigan. So?

And if Obama has p1ssed the CC I'll definately vote for him again. Are social matters that only things that matter to the lunatic right these days?

There is nothing great about the foul mouthed Bill Maher who has a problem with women. He has a problem with Republican women referring to them as sluts. This is the guy who made horrible remarks about Down Syndrome.
He said in relation to Sarah Palin "the strange family of inbred weirdos"

You took a cheap shot at his religion. The right to life of the unborn is the most fundamental right of all. How dare you label people who disagree with you as the lunatic right. There is nothing lunatic about believing in the right to life of the unborn. Too much I know about Obama.
Obama is on track to borrow $6.2Trillion in One Term.—That is more than all Presidents from Washington through to Clinton combined. The US National debt will have risen from $11 Trillion in 2008 to $17 trillion by the end of 2012. America is nearly bankrupt.

You obviously have a sick sense of humour if you think jokes about womens anatomy and downs syndrome are funny.
Would you like your sister or mother to be called a slut on the public airwaves?

Rich political donors/lobbyists is the way of American politics, no point picking on Romney alone.

Look dude you and I obviously have completely different sense of humours and we could argue till the cows come home. Unfortunately for your party they HAVE been taken over by a bunch of lunatics and republican politicians won't disagree with the status quo. Except Olympia Snow, a woman I greatly admire. It's a shame for this country.

And I stand by my comments by Maher. Limbaugh may hurt my feelings so I don't listen to him. BUT he's not a fcukin' comedian.

BTW you're talking to an atheist here who has no time for religion, especially organised religion who try to inject their wacky ethos into our everyday life's. And that's not a joke.
