3pm.

Cant see anything else but a Limerick Win.First 15 minutes will be shared and them Limerick will pull away and finnish with a big score.Limerick To win by 10-12 points.

Everybody played well saturday night cant see many changes to be made.

N.Quaid
S.Walsh
R.McCarthy
T.Condon
W.McNamara
D.O'Grady
G.O'Mahony
J.Ryan
P.Browne
D.Breen
B.Geary
S.Dowling
G.Mulcahy
N.Moran
S.Tobin

The only changes that might me made if Browne is Injuried? Then You would see P.O'Brien come in there and Maybe Hannon Starting instead of Geary to give him more match time before the next round.

Hopefully Antrim will provide Limerick with a much sterner test than Laois did on Saturday night!Again Limerick find themselves in a no-win situation really! If they win comfortably, supporters will say `` Ah ye were only playing antrim'' but if they stumble over the line, questions marks will be raised once again!Id make a few positional changes in the forwards for this game. Bring Niall Moran out half forward, start David Breen at Centre forward and put Brian Geary inside full forward. That in my view would be both a well balanced half and full forward line respectively.

Good to see it's on at 3pm aswell, half 7 just seems pointlessly late. I'll be there again and hope to see Limerick play with comfort and confidence more than anything.

Geary at centre forward didn't work for me, I'm a huge fan of geary but think it's centre back or nowhere for him now, hope he can get back in with a shot for his proper position. Any word on when hickey's due back? I'd like to see Shane o'neill get another run. Id go with

Quaid
O'Neill
McCarthy
Condon
Wayne mc
Geary/hickey
GOM
DOG
Ryan
Hannon
Breen
Dowling
Mulcahy
Moran

Shocking calls there if i may say so. Take Moran out of full-forward where he just scored 3.1 and set up a host of other scores and won frees. Then Geary, IMO bad enough they played him centre forward where it was only his 2nd time playing there in championship (Clare 2006 being the other time) but then move him to full forward where he has never played before in championship ? Sorry surely just no...

My team for Saturday for what it's worth

N.Quaid
S.Walsh
R.McCarthy
T.Condon
W.McNamara
D.O'Grady
G.O'Mahony
J.Ryan
P.Browne (If Fit, if not P.O.Brien)
D.Breen
D.Hannon (If fit, if not Breen centre & S.O.Brien on the wing)
S.Dowling
G.Mulcahy
N.Moran
S.Tobin

Whats the story with S.Hickey does anyone know, can't wait to see him back will really up it again. Great to see T.Condon get such a reception after being taken off the other night he's really coming into his own.

I would not be in favour of messing around with the defence at this stage,it has been a fairly frail flower which is nicely coming into bloom and should be left alone bar injuries.

Its a game that has the potential to be a tricky enough one.

In last years game at Parnell Park the sending off was the turning point and Antrim didnt have Watson either. Jerry Wallace have gone and come back and is gone now, but Jim Nelson has come in and will galvanise them. Wallaces work earlier in the year will have them fit.

Westmeath caught them on the hop, but they are coming to Limerick with nothing to lose and Eddie McCloskey, Micheal Herron, Liam Watson and Shane McNaughton are scoring forwards. Their weak areas are full back in the absence of the suspended Cormac Donnelly and centre back. They picked Conor Carson full back against Westmeath which is the equivalent of Wexford picking Stephen Banville there or Waterford picking Seamus Prendergast there.

Neilly McGarry will play at full back slr. He's as good as any in the county at the minute.

If limerick don't beat antrim on Saturday, we are going no where fast (No disrespect to Antrim) West meath beat them with 14 men. If limerick are to build on the performance against Tipp they have to take a scalp this year and look forward to the Munster championship next year. If we draw Cork/Tipp we have them at home.

He hadn't been selected to the panel prior to Jim Nelson taking over the reigns.

I saw Seamus Hickey at the game on Saturday night, he's not wearing a cast now as far as I could see. Looks like he won't be fit in time for the Antrim game.

At the very least hickey is going to come into the defence if fit, I would guess either in the corner or at centre back, though he could come in on the wing too. It would be great I'd he came in at 6 and released O'Grady back to midfield. O'neill coming in to the corner wouldn't weaken it either.

Showing some amount of disrespect there. Thinking Limerick will win with 14 men......

The Antrim panel looks stronger now than it did previously. I'd still say limerick to win by 5 or 6 points.

Good to see Hickey on the way back,he will be a great addition for corner back if he returns to the standard of his play in 2007 when he got YHOTH performing at corner back.

Not sure it is much stronger to make any great difference, Limerick by 10+.

I agree, say it will be easily 15 points, probably even a few more. Antrim are a bit of a mess right now.

Could be a bad weekend for hurling, and lead to a lot of calls for changes in the way championship is structured.

As I really fear the other rnd 2 qualifier between my own county Carlow and Wexford will be so badly 1 sided, something will have to change.

Carlow are missing at least 5 regulars and that is from a team who lost to Laois at home by 7 in Leinster. Now having to go to Wexford Park, i fear a 30 pt defeat or worse. If it stays under 20 pts I'd be relieved.
