Alex Ferguson has confirmed £13m new boy Shinji Kagawa will be the star attraction on Manchester United’s pre-season tour of South Africa and China.
The pressures on his squad means Ferguson is unlikely to know until the eve of departure exactly who will be on the flight to Durban on July 16.
Kagawa will be there, though, offering United fans the first opportunity to see him in action since his summer move from Borussia Dortmund.
The 23-year-old will be joined by the Red Devils’ other new boy, England Under-18 star Nick Powell, who has signed from Crewe.

No doubt Nick will be keen to show this upstart 'Johnny Foreigner' who's the real Star Summer Signing
