John Riordan went down after a seriously heavy collision at one point... he was referred to as everything from a tramp to a tinker for absolutely no reason by some of the crowd around me. I was shocked. It was disgraceful. A footballer with great heart and attitude and to knock him takes something strong. I had right good banter with Clare, Tipp, Waterford, Laois and Antrim supporters this year but Kildare took the thing too far. My blood boiled but thankfully an auld timer from Limerick behind me reminded me we were well outnumbered and not to react as in his words "they aren't people to reason with". I'm sure it's a case of a few rotten apples etc etc but it did leave a sour taste.

If Limerick were so defensive how come there were 5 team mates up with Stephen Kelly when he scored that great point?.
