I'm paying and going but 30 euro for a stand ticket is shocking again, take in a few kids and im skint after it, and don't give me any waffle about seeing both games I'm goin to watch limerick and kilkenney, it's a shoddy disgrace and driving this seriously disgruntled punter away from attending matches

Aren't kids tickets only €5? And there are also great value family tickets avaialble. Compared to any comparable sporting event or concert, Sunday's tickets are relatively cheap.

No doubt about it it's an expensive litte trip alright.
I was just doing the maths there and it works out I've spent €260 so far on match tickets for inter-county games only since the turn of the year. And that's only tickets for me as I don't have to buy for anyone else.
I've got the hurling heaven ticket for this weekend and the two semis so that brings the total up to €340 and hopefully I'll be able get a stand ticket for All-Ireland so that would bring the total for the year to €420.
Quite a total when I work it out like that. And that doesn't take in club games.
Anyone have any idea where abouts in Semple Stadium are the hurling heaven tickets for??

well offaly hurlers only cost you about 65 euro, another 15
for the footballers if you went to thurles as your 25 euro got you the double header in portlaoise.
the rest must have been on Beer money.

If you actually read my post you would have seen I specifically said "tickets"!!
And if you think you'll never have to worry about Kinnitty beating ye you're fairly mistaken. We've already beaten Birr in the U14,the U16 and the Minor Championships this year.
Looks like ye're golden era is coming to an end.

Dead right. €30 for two games is great value. Brilliant value considering its for two quarter finals and when you consider first round matches were going for €25 for one match its a bit much to be complaining about ticket prices. Petrol and food prices is a bigger worry than the cost of tickets for Sunday.
Of course the terraces are cheaper if you don't fancy the stand prices, nothing wrong with the terraces.

€30 is good value for Sunday.
2 knockout matches and €5 for under 16's. Some people aren't happy unless they are complaining.

Ive never gone in to the stand in my life so €15 or €20 is the most I ever have to pay. I wont go in to the first one but €20 is good value for anyone going to both matches and isnt that bad either even just for one. It is nearly that price to go in to Jackman Park to see Limerick soccer team FFS and that is league of Ireland division 1. 20-30 quid isnt too much to ask for 2 all Ireland 1/4 finals
