Christ it's awful IMO.27million or something like that reportedly spent on it..

I though the black lanlord/factory owner in the ceremony was a very accurate depiction of the industrial revolution.
why were there w hole load of rugby clips at the beginning.rugby isnt even an olympic sport

Maybe I am wrong.... But for the Northern Ireland segment was it not Willie Duggan they showed diving over scoring a try?
No opening ceremony is worth 27 million but the colour is fabulous!!!

Watched it there during a break in the darts. Useless.

Nearly certain it was Noel Mannion,you would think they would choose a northern player.
Just switched it on there again,the prodigy,born slippy,dizzee rascal,a montage of people kissing,?very surreal

All this build up just to light a fire. 3 hours..... Could have had the things over ages ago if they just used a good old zip firelighter. Place would have been ablaze within 30 seconds. Job done!!

Twas indeed Galways Noel Mannion, bit of a strange one to show him. Ulster lads have scored some great/important trys for us over the years.
I'm enjoying it, a bit long perhaps but - it it's a bit different.
