Very lop sided on one side of the draw, Cork, Kildare, Donegal and Kerry all there!

Cue Spillane giving a passionate speech about how this is truly the last chance for football to triumph as Kerry will look to rescue the game from the dastardly Jim McGuinness who is hell bent on killing gaelic games with his negative tactics.

You'd have to fancy them.although if Mayo get past Down who knows, memories of 06 could come flooding back

Dublin, Cork and Mayo should win. The other one is a complete toss up.

Some draw for Dublin. They'll surely be favourites now.

Kerry Donegal will be great game.

you would have to go with Dublin, Mayo, Kerry,Cork, from that draw should be some semil-final's.

i went for them a few weeks ago i still think Kerry will win it again, they are coming into form at the right time.

To make the final? Yes. Wouldn't say they're favourites to win it out. Whoever they meet in the final, if they get there, will be seriously battle hardened.

Gilroy is some lucky hoor all the same!

He'll be doing cartwheels with that draw alright.

Given that they broke the hoodoo last yr, a final, that they'll surely make now, wont faze them. Fresh or battle hardened in the run up to a final? There's an argument for another day I suppose

i wonder how they will match up the double headers?

I speculate

Cork v Kildare and Kerry v Donegal on one bill

Mayo v Down and Dublin v Laois on the other

He has actually to be fair, but Kerry are the embodiment of all that is great about the game. They would never resort to negative defensive tactics at all. Spillane never strayed past the opposition 65 in his entire career I'm led to believe.

Down usually bring a massive support as do Mayo. Both teams will fancy their chances so I'd expect a big crowd for that match. The Dubs may not turn up in big numbers if hey consider it to be a handy draw.

I'd say it could be Kerry Donegal on Saturday.Mayo v Down and Cork v Kildare on Sunday.Dublin Laois on bank holiday monday

Gilroy has to be happy with the draw but doubt he will be doing cart wheels. couldnt see him underestimating Mayo if their likely all ireland semi final arises given dublins last experience v mayo in a semi final!!

I think down will beat mayo. They love playing at croke park and mayo may freeze.

Fair enough but I think if anything 06 will only serve to protect against complaicancy, ensuring the same wont happen.

That said of course, Dublin havent exactly been brilliant in their three games.

Kildare could be a very tricky tie for Cork , it is a dangerous one for them as Kildare will be written off completely and are well capable of pulling off a big performance, Cork should still win but they may have to work for it.

Well Kildare it is. They will be hard to beat, however i think man for man we have the better players and far more options to score up front than Kildare who lack any real cutness or cutting edge.

Im not worried really about the layoff since the clare game A V Bs seems like good workouts, sligo couldnt be any much more than than that to be honest.

Im not concerned whos on our side of the draw, if we are to win an all ireland, Kerry etc have to be beaten, nothing new there.

I think with no injuries, full panel and the year after the year after celebrations of winning SAM, the players will have that hunger back again and they know how to do it. A young team thats only beginning.
