Not the type of ref to let the game flow and seems to apply every rule in the rule book to the letter - given the robust challenge that Limerick can expect in the first 15 mins and thereafter from the Noresiders does anyone think his style may affect Kilkennys approach to the game ??

As in they may have to follow the rules of the game?
That should be the expectation for all teams. Any Kilkenny fouling must be dealt with from the start of the ame.

Not an issue tomorrow. Come s final and final, Cody will be hoping for Barry Kelly to get the nod but the Limerick goalkeeper could ref the match tomorrow and KK would still win.

It certainly won't change Kilkenny's approach to the game, why would it? Besides if anything, it would favour Kilkenny. the Kilkenny players are good at breaking the tackle which means Limerick players have the option of leaving them go on or fouling them. If Wadding blows for the frees then with Shefflin, power and Larkin there for the frees Kilkenny will almost certainly have a point.
Also, I don't know where people get this idea that Kilkenny steam-roller the opposition. Limerick are a big side physically and as well able for the tough stuff, the dirty stuff and the cynical stuff as Kilkenny, or anyone else for that matter.
