Come on then. Spit it out.

Me? Not bothering with women ever again. It's one worry less, and I feel great.

Scenario: You're in a pub

Friend: "I think she's looking at you"

Me: "I don't care anymore. I'm just enjoying my pint. She could be looking at the wall"

Friend: "I think it's you, go to her"

Me: "Nope. I'm enjoying my pint"

Friend: "It's full of men in here tonight! Let's go somewhere else"

Me: "I don't care. I'm enjoying my pint"

Friend: "Wow, look at the women in here"

Me: "I don't care. I'm enjoying my pint"

You have it wrong cowpat. Don’t give up on women but don’t settle down with one.

Find yourself a good local with wall to wall sport all day any day throughout the year. Happy days! Slug away with your friends to your heart’s content whenever you want, no ties. Have a few, let’s just say, loose women’s numbers in your phone. We all know these type of wans – kinda half 2 you’ll do – that effort. Put them in as a group text on your phone. When you get the longing fire out an old group message then and whichever one answers, sure fire away. If you get a few responses better again you have a choice. Get into getting picture messages too so you can save them for those lonely nights when they all might be engaged, on holidays or tied up!

I know a few lads who swear by it.

Im with cowpat on this one.

How about this for a story, I was working in a foreign place for a while, met an Irish girl there and we got on super for a good while, she was big into me, I was very interested in her. When my job finished there then after a good while she said to forget about her as she was kinda messed up from a previous relationship and coudln't offer anything.

So I moved back to my normal job in Ireland and did as she said and forgot her.
So after a good few weeks she was home again and mailed me saying "we were good together before and now she had her head sorted she wanted to start seeing me". Great Job - Happy out.

Arranged to meet her in Dublin then to chat over what was going to happen, and she kinda deferred it for a week. No worries. Still grand.

A week later the day before we were due to meet to start a relationship as I thought, she mailed, saying "oh I met someone last weekend in Dublin and Im really into him and we have been on a few dates the past week" and I want to see how it goes from here.
I was sooo shocked.

"Best of Luck and Thanks for understanding" - she said - T'Daaah.

And this is not teenager romance now, the girl is nearly 30 and Im over 30 like.

What yee reckon to that lads ?

Keane's Road. I'm 35, I don't have those kind of opportunities anymore.

Keano. I reckon she f**ked you around, and you should tell her as much. She messed with your head, and I sense you are feeling vulnerable and maybe bitter.
It shouldn't matter if she is Irish or not, women are women.
The best way to get over one woman is to let another get under you.

Ah keano, you got done in a classic sting.

She was one of these needy, have to be in a relationship types, can’t be on her own kinda wan. I bet she was living in your ear when ye were together. She has always been going out with someone. She is attached to relationships but the not the person per say that she is in the relationship with. She is like a cat in that regard if you get me. Hence the call you got from her a few weeks ago. Her mind was not on you but on herself and the potential on her not being alone. My guess is she has decent / good looks and no problem getting attention and so will never really settle. However she is in for a fall my friend as she hits 30+ her looks will fade and she will be soon be (joining the list of girls in the group text scenario above) seen as a one nighter by lads.
Experience will stand to you though. You need to start recognising the signs sooner – oh and never, ever, go back.

When (and she will!) returns looking for action again, do the deed to your liking and then handily lose her number!

She sounds like she could do with a bag of mikey's!

What do you mean you don’t have those opportunities anymore? What are you? A monk or a man?

Christ your 35 not dead. Get up off your hole and get back in the game – did you ever hear of the dirty 30’s? Women your age are getting into their sexual prime and willing to try anything so long as they don’t get caught! Its free money all you have to do is spend!

//Keanes Road - You have it spot on man - totally correct.

Every night for 5 weeks together - no jiggy jiggy now mind - got on super - very very good looking girl - never gave too much away but kept saying she got hurt badly in the last relationship - And to be honest it was very obvious that she did too.

When she got her head sorted she felt she wanted a new relationship - first guy she saw that looked like potential - she grabbed him. Having committed to meeting me then meant nothing.

//carryharry - I know myself I'll get a mail someday too - or a text to "see how I am". Im already prepared for that.

Thats happened numerous times before with others, I kinda know how they work like but just annoyed how they act - even when they approaching "clock ticking" mode.

P.S - Not Bitter at all - Was just disappointed at the time in how "women in general" just trampled over fellas.

Better off outta there I think !!

Fixed that for you! You got that right.

Lads, think of Braveheart in the battle scene, and the English tearing down the field at the boyz, and Mel Gibson shouting "hold!", and the English getting closer, and Mel Gibson shouting "hold!". Well it's like that. Don' give in. I deleted her number so she'll have to get back. Yeah I heard about this dirty 30s bullsh*t. I haven't seen much action in the last 5 years, put it that way, and I am a top top bloke.

Probably more to do with you than it is to do with women.

Don't think my problems can be sorted out by an Agony Aunt Thread unfortunately Cowpat. Haven't read 50 Shades Of Grey but I hear it's delightful.

Of course when it is blokes going in buying dirty books, we are a bunch of perverts!
For women, it's "liberating". I hear it's poorly written. There was a woman with her son buying it in front of me in the shop the other day. She had no shame either, and the one behind the counter telling her she read it on holidays. That's like me going in buying Playboy or something, and telling yer man I read it the weekend in bed......
This is an agony aunt thread, so, I am wondering why women put up with "playaz" like Chris Brown. Actually he's a woman beater. Why was he "forgiven"?

Well I suppose it's one of the first well know pieces of literature of a sexual nature that's aimed at women.. Men have had them for years. Bit of liberation from years of sexual repression of women.

And on players like Chris Brown, well he hasn't really been forgiven at all by most people, even though Rihanna may have forgiven him. Same with a lot of cases involving violence against women I suppose.

He got away with it either because:
a. He is loaded
b. He is hung like a horse
c. He's a top top bloke
d. Yer wan is as thick as a 2x4

Jaysus cowpat u seem to be in an awful pucker man ?

What on gods earth could be so bad that has you this frustrated and angry ?

U seem to be rightly down and out over the lack of action like, get yourself away on a singles holiday, they are supposed to be great (not been on one myself).

Get yourself on plentyoffish.com or something and get chatting to girls if your that in need of some action or female comapnions.

Get away outta Ireland, its a dump at the moment, get some foreign action, be yourself and chat to nice girls, as there some good ones out there still and if your nice they WILL chat back. I promise you that.

Im not taking the ------- or anything now just concerned as to what could have u so down-n-out like ?
