Any predictions lads in particular on groups 1 and 2.... I reckon a few upsets could be on the cards, group 2 is really looking exciting with the Bridge loosing round 1 and needing to win......

Considering how close many of the games were in the last round there could be some upsets! Still hard to look past parteen and feakle in group 1 , however, meelick and ennistymon will be tough to overcome ! In group 2 a must win for the bridge who I feel would have too much for killanena. Bodyke who have gained 4 players to beat Newmarket

Corofin will expect to turn over Crusheen but this may go to the wire with Crusheen 2nds still strong this time of the season.
Killanena are getting some players back following a terrible cup campaign and it would be a huge boost to the club to see them winning this one. As stated above the Bridge are under pressure following first rd loss and its a must win game for them.
Ogonnelloe will relish a lash off Ruan and would expect them to give a good account of themselves. Ruan are going thru the motions on their way to another final and they will surely expect to make it 3rd time lucky.
Bodyke will have too much for the Blues and you can only admire the amount of underage work going on in the East Clare club who are making serious efforts.
Cathal Malone was not used by Clare 21s on wed night and he will be a key figure for Ennistymon in their clash with Parteen. Only 2 pts separated them in their league encounter in May and Malone didnt play that day so Ennistymon will be confident this time.
Feakle may feel they only have to turn up and if thats the case they may get a shock. Of course it depends on who is fit for Meelick.

result from tonite ruan 2.19 ogonolloe 3.7
easy win for ruan who lead at half time 1.10 to 1.4 with john punch scoring 1.3
they had breeze in second half and lead by 12 pts until late colm forde goal.
niall o connor full back and jonathan clohessy at centre always in control.others played well for ruan killan ryan tadgh hanrahan and aidan lynch. for ogonolloe colm forde and peter o brien tried hardest in the backs in the forwards kieran forde and ozar mc mahon tried hard. ozar was sent off for second yellow card in last 10 minutes.

Crusheen 1-17 Corofin 2-8. If Killanena and Sixmilebridge ends in a draw or Sixmilebridge wins on Sunday Crusheen are in the semi finals. Reason for same Crusheen beat Sixmilebridge thus head to head favours Crusheen.

Ruan have won comfortably against Bodyke and Ogonnelloe and will be widely expected to do so against Newmarket as well.
Second place in the group will be most likely determined by the game between Ogonnelloe and Bodyke, if Ruan win then a win for Ogonnelloe gives them second place, a win for Bodyke in this scenario puts it down to scoring difference between the three teams on 2pts.

you would expect ruan to beat newmarket. bodyke v ogonolloe hard to call local derby but as u say BP if bodyke win scoring difference will decide group runner up it will also decide last team in group who will go into relegation deciders .

Ruan seem to be nearly only club which hasn't lost players to emigration this season as they are a relatively experienced side. More luck to them. Corofin, Parteen and Bodyke seem to hardest hit. Could be the deciding factor in the championship.

Our boys aren't too badly hit either, of this year and last year's Intermediate and Senior teams, only Jason Greene has emigrated, and only Niall McMahon from the team that won the Junior A two years ago. The more pressing issue is that we're likely to lose a player or two to the seniors eventually, probably Conor O'Loughlin will go up (so that'll be two of our Intermediate half back line gone), but we have lads from the Junior B's that are well capable of making the step up.
