Final major of the year lads, my original picks last week didn't bear fruit but luckily i backed Keegan Bradley Sunday morning @ 10/1 to get out of jail.

What are people thinking for this weekend?

Im gonna have bets on the following,

Dustin Johnson @ 25/1 €5.00 e/w
L Oosthuizen @ 35/1 €5.00 e/w
Keegan Bradley @ 40/1 €5.00 e/w
N Colsaerts @ 66/1 €2.50 e/w

And a mad one in Tommy Gainey @ 300/1 €2.50 e/w

Do you think a European player has a chance Faldo? Only reason i went with Colsaerts is he is a big hitter.

I feel the Americans are finding form at the right time with the Ryder Cup creeping up.

Matt Kuchar at 35/1 will do me.

A closing 66 last week.
Has not missed a cut all year and 8 top 10 finishes this year so far.

Thats enough for him to carry my e.w. money.

I don't see why not carry..I'm surprised at your Johnson pick.good player alright but that not a fair price on him imo..I guess you could say the same with garriugus pick!

Bad price alright but just have a feeling he may go well.

They say Kiawah is similar to Pebble beach when the wind is up and we all know what Dustin should of done at Pebble beach a few years ago.

Good few tipping Garrigus on online forums & tipping sites alright. Its a tempting price.

the last major always a crackin tournament.. tough track in kiawah island but will be serious to watch. doing three against the field.

dustin johnson. actually backed him for this at 35-1 few weeks back. just think he is threatening to win a big one. has a good record in these coastal sandy tracks like pebble and whistling straits.length of tee will help on some holes

jason dufner. 30-1. the most consistent man in golf. never far away and should have won this last year.. does not seem to ever have a bad week

kyle stanley 100-1.. my off the wall pick.. just is a talented player not in great form but showin signs.. an american outsider often shows up well in the pga

Seems to be some sentiment here for Dustin. Rightly so, as this is his home state so the conditions should suit him. PP have him 4th favourite at 22/1 currently - not a great price for someone who hasn't won as much as many expected the past 2 years.

The Ocean Course is on of the toughest in the business if the wind blows, so many of the big names may struggle. I'm looking for value this week, so will do the following:

Geoff Ogilvy e/w @ 80/1
Bubba Watson to win @ 33/1

For an e/w long shot - KJ Choi @ 125/1. I can't believe this guy hasn't won a major yet. Maybe this is his week.

Faldo - I admire your perseverence with Garrigus. Hopefully some day he makes the breakthrough.

I'm going with McDowell, Duffner and Tiger.

This course is looooong. And with all the recent rain there that won't help. Hoping for a European winner and some strong performances with September looming. Jaysus I'd love to go up to Chicago for it. Some craic i'd imagine.

Gone for Padraig @ 40/1, Ian Poulter @ 80/1 & garriugos @ 100/1. €1.50 e/w on those lads. Probably should have spent it on a couple of pints!

Dont drink. Not a golf fan, hate it in fact. Fan of betting so keep an eye on the form and results but never watch the actual tournaments

I must be the only one on this thread who doesn't gamble. I just call them on my expert knowledge of the great game of golf.
