Lads its a misty ould morning and I'm off for a few days and lazy to do gardening, so just for fun let's see who knows their boxing [aren't we all experts now ]
I'm going to go 19 15 to Katie with her biggest score in the last round as she throws off the shackles and lets loose. Hopefully.

She seems to thrive on the pressure , which is always a good trait with a top sports person.

To be honest I find it hard to make the scoring out even when I am watching the fight, but I think she will win comfortable enough something like 14 - 8 or there about's.

It would be a real shame and travesty if she did not win this one after absolutely dominating the sport in her class for years but sometimes Sport can be very cruel , lets hope today is not on of those days.

She seems to put in the same training and preparation as a Pro boxer would and her whole life is 24/7 boxing for the last few years.

Even her father wants her to hang up the gloves if she wins today so she can start to enjoy her life more than just Boxing gym 24/7.

I hear her Russian opponent is doing a bit of trash talking in the Russian media. She was saying that anyone boxing Katie starts with -10 points! And basically that it's fixed for Katie to win Gold I'm not a violent man and don't condone it (especially when it involves women) but id love to see Katie take her head off this afternoon!!!

I hope she hasn't been training like a pro boxer!
Apparently the standard is lower in the pro version of the sport.

I hope I'm wrong but I just have a feeling it will all come crashing down. 14-11 to the Russian. I backed her at 6/1 an hour ago. Some price really for a 2 horse race. I may as well cash in if she upsets our chances of a gold.
